California State Taxes, Revenues and the Economy
NO POT OF GOLD: It is clear that the state's revenues are coming in lower than the Governor forecasted even as recently as January 2012. The Legislature is making the fiscal crisis worse by not adopting Governor Brown's suggested cuts in state spending now. The longer they wait, the deeper the cuts have to be and more people will suffer as a result. There is not pot of gold at the end of the May Revision rainbow.
